How we treat information in this demo experience.

1. Overview

Off-Grid Estate NZ is currently a demonstration website. The listings, user accounts and transactions shown are all mock data and no real-world real estate activities are conducted through this site.

2. What data is stored

For the purposes of this demo, any information you enter into forms is handled entirely in your browser. Specifically:

  • Saved properties are stored using your browser's localStorage.
  • Demo login details are also stored using localStorage on your device only.
  • Contact and "request to buy" forms are not actually sent to a server.

This means data is not transmitted to a backend or third party service, but anyone else with access to your device and browser profile could see locally stored demo data.

3. Cookies and tracking

This demo does not intentionally set tracking cookies or analytics scripts. Your browser or hosting provider may still log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and basic usage statistics.

4. Demo-only nature

Because this is not a production service, you should not enter sensitive personal information (for example, legal names, passport details, full street addresses or payment card numbers). Any text you type should be treated as sample data for demonstration only.
